The northern part of Hwy 123 crosses the Buffalo River and is a pretty decent ride. Western Grove is a good start/stop/rest spot since there is a decent gas/convenience store/bathrooms right across Hwy 65 at that intersection.
It might be noted, that although it isn't really part of the Hwy 123 route, Hwy 74 east of Mt. Judea is only paved for ~3 miles to the community of Bass. Then it turns to gravel on its way to Snow Ball. - Alan Smith (01-27-08)
