Roaring River State Park in S.W. Missouri is a great riding destination, and offers some of the best twisted two lane rural roads Missouri has to offer.  Most of this ride is on very rural two lane backroads that incorporates allot of elevation changes (woopty-dooos) and canopy lined roads.  One of the nice things about this ride is (for the most part) there is very little traffic.

The ride does avoid all but two towns (Nixa & Cape Fair), but there is a nice restaurant at the intersection of SR-173 & SR-76 called “Koppie’s” and their food is disturbingly good.

While we can’t predict traffic conditions, we can say that for the most part any traffic you encounter will be on SR-76 & HWY-160 and even then it is generally very light, and rarely do we see any traffic on the other roads. There is fuel in Nixa, Cape Fair and of course various spots along US-160 so plan accordingly.  To sum it up, we highly recommend that you give this ride a try.
